SunLife is a food brand in it’s infancy but with big ambition. Ready to make an impact they needed a visual identity which represented why their products were straight from the source with a no nonsense approach!

Delivering a design which had a fresh take on your everyday essential ingredients I applied this visual system not only on the food labelling but for ideas on marketing the product to reach it’s target audience. Confident with the design of their first product and brand proposition the team at SunLife are eager to spread their range of products into the UK and European markets.

Being a start-up brand is no small feat. Markets are competitive, fierce and can get you down even before you start. However, at SunLife things were different….they had the vision of creating something that will be truly valuable to their market and had made it their mission to succeed.

During the kick off meeting I honed in on the key words that were used over and over again. From listening to what was important to the client I used this as a basis to start my research process.

By pairing images to those key words and seeking trends with a keen eye on design,

I curated a selection of images to create a moodboard for the direction of the brand.

The outcome was a concise yet versatile logo. It represented the core essence of the product range as well as what the company stood for.

The SunLife team had a foundational visual system to apply to the product packaging and marketing material going forward.

A strong brand story was created through the visuals to compel their audience and begin their journey into the food market.
